Pinjore is famous for the beautiful Mughal Gardens, known as the Yadavindra Gardens.The Yadavindra Garden is a very beautiful garden situated in Pinjore.It is 20 kilometres from Chandigarh, 5 kilometres from Kalka, close to the road leading to Shimla.Taxis and buses ply regularly between Pinjore, Kalka and Chandigarh.Special programmes are arranged at the Yadavindra Gardens for the Baisakhi festival in April and for the Mango Festival in June and July.

Beautiful Flowers, Waterfalls are there to see in the garden.Beautiful lawns with soft grass increase the beauty of the Garden.Sparkling lights also add to the beauty of Garden at night.A lot of people visit the garden on the Baisakhi Festival and on Mango Mela. On such occassions the Garden is on its Full Beauty.

Pinjore is also an historical place.Tools of Tower Paleolithic period fabricated on Quartzite have been found from the region stretching from Pinjore to Nalagarh. Important sculptures and other antiquarian remains recovered from the place can be assigned to the period ranging between 9th century A.D. to 12th century A.D.
